A big thank you to our church in Washington, IL for the Christmas Box they sent to us! It came after I got home from France and was a wonderful surprise, full of Christmas cards and little goodies inside!!! We had a little Christmas celebration right then, all gathered around ...the bed!... again. First, each of us got to open several cards, some of them including pictures. The card all went on a merry-go-round until all of us had read & seen each one. It was great to read what each of you had written and the letters you'd included. Then, Daddy pulled more out of the box and there was a variety of snacks that we haven't seen or tasted since we left the States: raisins, animal crackers, gummy legos, and dried fruit mix. Yum, yum! And I, Wanda, got "Tension Tamer" tea.......just what the doctor ordered! :) John got good ole' honest-to-goodness for-real-American potato chips, which were opened and disappeared in record time with a few helping hands! One Leman Mint for each...which is currently being hoarded by each recipient, I believe. The children also each received a notebook and a warm hat, too. So, thank you, thank you to all who participated in making this happen! And a special thank-you to Thad & Elizabeth for sending the box and adding the extras for us! 
Also, we want to say a BIG thanks all of you who have sent individual cards and letters across the sea to us. It was sooooo good to hear from each of you! We now have a cabinet front full of cards & pictures to remind us of home. It is our personal decoration for our living room which we see everytime we walk by...which is constantly! :)
