I got a picture from Penny, a friend and co-worker from OSF. She had a baby girl and the picture is so cute I just had to blog her!

Karen just arrived in Korea 2 months ago, but has already plunged into the Korean society and culture and hit it with a bang! She splits between two schools and one of those is DaeSan Middle School, just up the road from us. She was able to come for a visit today and we look forward to doing more with her. She showed us something wonderful today... she introduced us to Yahoo! Voice. With it, we can call PC to PC for free with anyone else who downloads it. That part is just like Skype except with no video feed, so all you need is a microphone & speakers on your computer(plus a yahoo email address.) But, the really neat part about it is that we can also call to U.S. home phonelines for only a penny a minute! And toll-free numbers are free. Amazing!!! We've been using expensive calling cards to make those necessary calls - and then they put you on hold since they think they're paying for it anyway. But the best thing of all is that the computer provides an automatic "speaker phone" so all of us can hear and talk. That's been the hard part when we call back to family.
Our week has been a busy one with school. We're through the first "easy" part of the books and are starting to wade into the "new information" waters, bogging down just a bit. Today was the first day we did not get all our planned assignments finished during schooltime. So now they will be learning the words, "Saturday make-up time!"
Have a great weekend!
