Today there were no classes today because everyone went to the mountain nearby for hiking. We were going to go, but then decided to have a "family day"(minus John) at home instead. We had a great time!! Ae-Ran came at 10, then she chauffeured us over to the grocery store on her way to work. On the way back home we decided to take more bags with us next time so we can all share in the load carrying the groceries! Mommy & James' arms were ready to fall off! Then we ate lunch at home instead of going to school. The kids are eager to learn how to prepare, make, and cook the foods here like they were doing back home. We've been learning together how to make things, so meal preparation takes awhile! We all took naps after lunch, then went over to the school to help Daddy carry home all the bottles of water he refilled. We played some games together, made supper, and listened to a sermon on CD. The kids rated today as A+! (but said they are looking forward to school again tomorrow=) ) We voted 5-0 that from now on, we'll always take Wednesdays off as family days.
Today, John had no classes because of the hiking expedition. However, he still had to sit in class all day. So he worked on the teaching certificate he's been doing online. The teaching certificate is separate from the bachelor's degree. He's already completed a grammar certificate; this will give him the full teaching certificate for Teaching English as a Second Language. He's about 1/2-way through it.
