Answer to Laura

Laura,

Thanks for your question!  Here is each of our answers:

Joy - the coolest thing was being able to walk around on the airplane while still feeling that the airplane was flying on an angle upwards.  My least favorite thing about flying is the landing because of the pressure in my ears from going from high altitude to low altitude.

Jesse - my favorite part about flying is that we each had our own monitor screen and there were lots of games to play, and so I played things like golf, Tetris, puzzles, & stategy challenges. What I did not like is the turbulence we went through.  This happens when the plane rocks back and forth and up and down because of storms or winds.

James - my favorite part is the take-off and landing, especially take-off because of the G-force pushing me back into the seat.  My least favorite was sitting for 13 hours on our longest flight.

Wanda - I have many favorites! My favorite part of flying on an Asian airline is the Asian food they serve.  This is not my favorite part if I'm flying American! Another thing I enjoy on the airplane is walking around and doing exercises while the shades are all pulled down and it's dark.  It's quiet then and the airplane is humming and it is relaxing.  A neat thing on our flights over were that they were newer airplanes, so everything was more roomy.  Even the bathroom was about 1.5x bigger. I also enjoy the initial take off and being pushed back in the seat by the G-force. I even enjoy a bumpy landing because I know the airplane will land safely, but there is a certain short distance that the airplane gets tossed around in higher winds and it almost feels like a short carnival ride.  My least favorite part, however, is the length of the ride.  After 6 hours, I'm ready to deplane!!  It is not comfortable sleeping and my posterior gets pretty sore, even after getting up, walking, and stretching.  After we get home, I will be very happy not to get on another airplane for a long time!  Perhaps when someone flies business class, it might be more comfortable since those chairs recline further.

John - I favorite part about flying is the food - I like the Asian food, the green tea, the apple juice, and the coleslaw.  I also liked learning how to play golf and playing a tournament with Jesse.  They also had PacMan & RagDoll, and those were fun to play again.  My least favorite thing is the turbulence, but it wasnt' that bad this trip.  Another thing I didn't like was waiting in line for the bathroom.   

Janna - my favorite part of flying was sitting in an isle seat so I could get out to go to the bathroom & walk.   My least favorite was sleeping in a reclining position because I'm a tummy sleeper.
