Visiting the Orphanage

Today we went and visited the orphanage. It was not the same building where I was adopted from however, because that building was torn down to build a highrise. They moved the site of  the orphanage across the street.  Now there is a new, nicer building for the babies. The children there are between the ages of firstborns to 5 years old.  It was fun to see all of the children at the orphanage. They were eating supper when we got there and we gave the nurses candy to give to the kids after they ate their supper. Before we went to the orphanage though, we had gone to a silk making village and visited one of the shops. We got to see how they made the silk material which was made by using a powered mechanical loom that could be made to make a certain type of pattern. The silk there was very expensive because it was very high quality. We also went to visit a village and ended up eating lunch there. While we were there, there was a couple taking pictures and wanted some pictures taken with us. That was pretty much our whole day of activities.
